The history and values of our farm
The Galantino Roberta Farm represents a business rooted in Apulian tradition, where the value of the land and respect for agricultural work guide every stage of production.
Talking about who we are means recounting the journey of a family that, for over seventy years, has cultivated olives with commitment, continuity, and attention to a natural heritage that deserves to be protected.
The company, located in Trinitapoli and immersed in the Alto Tavoliere plain, cultivates 13 hectares of olive groves home to approximately two thousand trees, the fruit of generations of constant care and conscious varietal selection.
Over time, daily work has evolved, integrating modern techniques while preserving the essential principles of traditional craftsmanship.
Our origins and family identity
The company's history began in the 1950s thanks to Grandfather Vito, who dedicated his life to olive trees and their cultivation.
The experience gained over the decades has been carefully passed down, becoming the starting point for the consolidation of an agricultural reality that today combines expertise, manual skills, and environmental awareness.
With the arrival of the new generations, management has passed to Roberta and Giuseppe, who have chosen to enhance the legacy they have inherited by renewing it with agronomic techniques that are more attentive to the territory and the quality of the final product.
Family identity remains the core of our way of working: every process, from plant care to harvest, is approached with a direct and responsible approach, promoting choices that preserve the relationship between humanity and the environment. The knowledge consolidated over the years is now combined with up-to-date skills, creating a solid and coherent production model.
Our production philosophy and the varieties we grow
A balance between tradition, innovation and sustainability
The production philosophy is based on the idea that a quality extra virgin olive oil is born first and foremost from the care of the olive grove.
The agricultural practices adopted respect the natural rhythms of the plants, promoting a balance that allows for the production of fruits rich in organoleptic properties.
Manual harvesting preserves the integrity of the olives, while immediate pressing preserves their aromas, freshness, and polyphenol content.
With a view to sustainable agriculture, the company favors targeted and non-invasive interventions, thus protecting both the land and the surrounding environment.
The result is a genuine product, linked to the seasonal cycles and the uniqueness of the cultivated varieties.
The cultivars that characterize our oil
The Galantino Roberta Farm's varietal heritage includes some of the most representative Apulian and southern cultivars: Coratina, Carolea, Nocellara, Ogliarola, and Peranzana.
Each of them contributes to defining the sensory profile of our multivarietal extra virgin olive oil, which stands out for its balance, aromatic intensity and flavour complexity.
Coratina adds structure and character; Carolea adds roundness; Nocellara lends vegetal freshness; Ogliarola introduces softness; Peranzana enriches with fruity notes.
This combination allows you to obtain a harmonious and versatile product, suitable for various culinary preparations.
An authentic connection with the Apulian territory
Describing who we are also means describing our relationship with the Trinitapoli area and Puglia, an area historically devoted to olive growing.
The microclimate, soil composition, and sun exposure all contribute significantly to the final quality of the product.
The company has chosen to enhance these elements while maintaining an agricultural footprint rooted in the local landscape.
The olive groves represent not only a productive resource, but also a testimony to the cultural and rural heritage that characterizes the region.
Each bottle of extra virgin olive oil thus embodies the result of a journey that begins in the earth and arrives at the table with consistency and authenticity.
